Nice find. I have one that's similar from Colorado. I've been afraid to touch the paint.

That's crazy. Yeah they didn't weather well. I have a little green coming out on mine, hopefully I can get a little more color to come out.

Love it! I see you have some 72 Texas plates on there. This year I'm registering my K5 with some new old stock 71 Texas plates I found on the interweb. What part of Texas are you in?

Re: 1972 K5 CST Highlander Blazer Patina Texas

Got a Christmas tree yesterday with my wife and kids in this old girl yesterday. I need to get some better pics of it sometime. The overcast day made the green look darker than it is. None the less we had a great time cutting down our own Christmas tree, we're kinda late this year on getting out tree. It's been busy with 2 small kids.

Pics don't hardly do it justice. I rebuffed blazer, it turned out good. Now to the small stuff. Tint Glue, etc. Got new carpet coming to.

Man, she buffed up nice, perfect patina. You may have the tow hooks upside down, hard to tell from the pic. Great collection of signs.

Thanks for sharing

The tow hooks are mounted vertical. In the pic they look like they are mounted horizontally. How does your top look flawless? Came out great!

Re: 1972 K5 CST Highlander Blazer Patina Texas

I got in a hurry on the Tow hooks, they need to be flipped around. There
Mounted vertical, they just need to be turned around. I guess this is what happens when you work late at night with no sleep and having young kids.

Re: 1972 K5 CST Highlander Blazer Patina Texas

Well I got a little bit done this weekend. I got all the old window tint off and glue. Which that sucks taking off by the way. Got the old points out of distributor and got the new petronix ignition installed and coil. Did cap and rotor to. Going to for a test run tomorrow. Going to change fuel filter and drive it this week and see how the blazer does. May make it my everyday driver. Got some steel wheels coming from
Kevin, going to get my father in law to blast them and Powdercoat them. I accidentally found some new bfg km2 that I may put on blazer.
