air to water intercooler setup?

Has anyone ever ran an air to water intercooler setup in there truck with twin turbos and what were your modifications and how hard was it really to install. i'm currently in the process of mockup for the final time and just decided i would go air to water instead of air to air and was wondering if anyone has done it yet. i might have to build a custom air to water setup to make it work. so any help is appreciated

Re: air to water intercooler setup?

In a C10? No ones going to make a kit for that. If you're at the point of needing one, everythings gonna have to be custom anyway. The nice thing is that A2W will use a smaller heat exchanger, so fitment shouldn't be too terrible. Plus water tubes are easier to route than 5" tubing. Depending on how your radiator sits (and if you have trans or p/s coolers), you've got 4-5" inside the core support area to use.

If your not using inner fenders, you've got all the room in the world.
