we all happen to enjoy seeing trucks in process, being worked on, finished, or rednecked together. WE the Common People of the forum learn and tend to help on another. the regular c10 posted in this forum is a sweet looking truck. is it lifted or big no but he posted it to show what he had been up to while not working on that big black monster truck of his. i say great job

Re: Let's see some big lifted 73-87

It's not really all that big, and it's not lifted at all, but here is my 78 K30 on 315/75R16s

4" springs with a bunch of goodies, and wider spacers for between the duals are sitting in the shop waiting to go on. Has 1.5" between the duals right now, were perfect with the 285s, but let the 315s touch now, replacing with 2.5" and moving the 1.5"s up front for a wider stance when the springs go on.

Re: Let's see some big lifted 73-87

My K5 has 6" of lift and 35's.

Maybe the post should have said specifically what the post content should be.

Thanks for making people not want to posts pics of thier stuff.

Re: Let's see some big lifted 73-87

How about we all stop assuming we know everything, and allow folks to post without trolling their replies? That would probably be the best idea IMHO

If the OP has an issue with the pictures replied, then they can put up a thread with specifics of what they are looking for. Until then lets quit assuming stuff and speaking for others.
Thanks

Doesnt those back tires being so close together rub a hole in them, my buddy had his like that and they wore out bad in between, just curious

I love the stance of these two!! I can't decide on an 8 inch lift or a 10 inch lift for my 85. What brand of lift is on the black one? I'm thinkin of going with a skyjacker 8"
anyway, here are my rides.

There were actually 1.5" spacers between them in that picture, still not enough, they just barely kissed. The truck was driven maybe a total of 5 miles that way before the new spacers went on. The tires won't "rub a hole" in each other, but the real issue is the heat build up due to rubbing causing the rubber to break down reducing treadlife, and potentially leading to a blowout. Now there are 2.5" spacers between them, and there is about 1" between the tires.

Updated picture with the 4" lift upfront, 2.5" spacers between the duals, and the 1.5" spacers moved up front for a little more aggressive stance.

It may not be the tallest, but it has its fair share of rubber out back
