will my rear end sag...

I am looking into buying a 4x4 but one of the things that I am curious about is how it will pull my boat. If it has a lift on it and I hook a ski boat onto it, will it bring the back end down so that it looks funny when towing. I know it sounds vain but I want it to look sweet when pulling the boat over the mountains, not like it is sagging in the back. What would be some ways to cure this, or are there any. Thanks guys

You shouldn't have any problems with sagging but will need a drop hitch. I have a 6" for my reciever that keeps the trailer somwhat level.

If you do run into a little saggy butt, some air bags would do well to get your rear back where you want it when loaded down.

I'm with Yukon Jack. I have firestone airbags on my F#ord Powerstroke (I can't believe that I'm admitting I own a F#rd). Anyways, the airbags are great. You keep them at 5 psi during normal driving, and when you are hauling you add a little air. I haul a cabover camper, and have found that the airbags also stiffen up the rear end and cut down on sway from side to side. I plan on putting a pair on my 71 3/4 ton 4x4.

Good call on pulling a boat with a 4x4. I always put mine in 4 wheel drive when putting in or taking the boat out. The front wheels on the higher part of the boat ramp which is uaually dry makes a big difference in the traction.
Another option for the saggy but is a load leveling hitch. Dont see those too often on a boat though.

4x4

Thats why I own a 4x4 in both of my trucks. If your like me, I don't get to the ramp until late, and the ramp is always slick when pulling my jet boat out. If I didn't have 4x4, I would be telling a story about how I slid back in to the water. You should be confident with your set-up, that it will pull the boat out and drive home safe. Happy boating and 4x4'ing.

Depends on the tongue weight of your trailer. My 20' Malibu has about 400# tongue weight, but I have 3/4 ton rated springs in the Jimmy. 4x4 may be a neccessity with an automatic on the boat ramp, but granny gear and limited slip and tire spin is a non-issue, at least with my Jimmy. My pickup with the auto and Dana 60 can get stuck in a wet parking lot.
