trouble starting

hello I bought a 72k5 blazer it has been sitting since the 80's and when I turn the key there is an idiot red light that says tandom lock the gauges appear original it doesent click or try to start I got nothing

Your dash was replaced at some point, from a larger series truck with tandom axles. Does it have a tach or vacuum gauge?, Usually this is the case when they get swapped out.
