1966 C-10 4 Speed Floor Shifter

Anyone have a line on a stock floor shifter for a 1966 C-10?
Can't seem to locate one in any of the online sources.
In So/Cal area.
Thanks!

Using a Hurst Mastershift on the heavy duty 3-speed Muncie in my 64 C10. Nice shifter - very satisfied.

Are you needing a shifter for an original SM420 4 speed trans?

Swapping 3 on tree for M-21 Muncie but wanting stock floor shifter. Not sure if it's adaptable but would like to try that first to maintain original look.

Re: 1966 C-10 4 Speed Floor Shifter

This kit would get you every thing you need. As it fits a few different transmissions, you will have some kit left over.

I would shop around to find the best price. As the Hurst patents have expired, there are likely a few generic copies available. Mr. Gasket & ITM also had different versions. Many people probably also have used units available.

Good Luck!

These trucks did not come stock with any kind of a floor shifter for a manual trans of that style. You will have to go with an aftermarket shifter. Choosing a shifter will also depend on what seat arrangement you are planning.

I've got a whole SM420 4 speed with shifter included. Not exactly an easy adaption to a different trans, as the levers/forks are internal. see pic in the link. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=729485
