Swapping in front Dana 60 question.

Has anyone on the board ever swapped in a Dana 60 in the front of their 67-72 4x4? I have a 72 K5 and just scored a front dana 60 and am just curios about what is involved. I have done the swap on a 73 and up truck and it was a bolt in. I was just wondering about 72 and down. Thanks in advance.

I put one in my 69, it's pretty much a bolt in, you will have to buy new brake lines and they are held to the frame with clips instead of the large stamped nut. They also require a D shaped hole instead of the round hole you now have, I used brake lines from a mid 80s K-30 and the line bracketrs from an 80s k-5 to make the switch, if you want some pixs just let me know.
