Got this middle seat out of a 93 Suburban. Cut the brackets down to lower the seat and drilled and re-enforced the floor. The seat bottoms pull up for storage underneath.

I like those a lot. Bench-ish but comfort of buckets. How are they for a long drive? Do you happen to have a picture from the back? I'd like to see how much they stick up above the glass. Also do you have enough room to be comfortable in there? I have a big frame at 6'1" 220lbs.

Seems like these are what you have, no?

From a 90 Chevy C1500. No longer in the truck, but looking for another 90-94 seat to use since I was stupid enough to get rid of the seat.

60-40 out of a 1989 Chevy 1500.
No cutting just braced the underside of the floor and drilled new holes.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Yep that one looks the same. Check around as you can probably get a better deal and condition seat. I cut the brackets down but its still a little high for me and I'm only 5'6". I'm trying to keep the seat bottom pull up feature and the backs also fold forward, so I don't want to hack them all up. Also passenger side slides forward on a track so heighth is hard to adjust to keep it matched up to the driver side.
I haven't really done any long drives bit they are comfy around town. I think I'm going to shorten the steering column as the wheel is still too close, and I'm kinda anal about getting it perfect
I'll get some better pics.

Awesome. I'd love a few more pics. I love looks of a bench but want some bolsters. Looks like this is a nice happy medium. I had an 05 f150 and the seats were super comfy but with no bolstering the only thing keeping me in my seat in a corner was my grip on the wheel. I'd like to avoid that in a truck that will be tons faster and tossed into corners more than that one ever was.

Re: what seats did you put in your 67-72 Chevy truck ?

Mine are a whole lot like Classic69's except yellow and black. I built a frame to mount the seats on (out if 1 1/4" square tubing) bolts to original seat mounting holes. For belts i went with PEAK racing harnesses. The lap belts use the original seat belt holes. I took removed the gas tank, cut a peice of 1 1/4" square tubing that went all the way across the cab, mounted the bolts for the shoulder straps then bolted the bar to the top mounting holes from the where the gas tank was mounted.

I tried to take some pictures but my camera is screwed up...I got one decent one but then I gave up on the pics and just took a video

Re: what seats did you put in your 67-72 Chevy truck ?

I found someone in town selling 70's Camaro seats. I was worried about height as I just bought them but they look awesome! When it's closer to finished I'll get some leather seat covers for her and that'll be all she wrote!

Re: what seats did you put in your 67-72 Chevy truck ?

I picked up my seats from the upholstery shop today. These seats are out of a 2011 chevy truck. We cut them down about 4 1/2 inches, they should sit right at the bottom of the window.

Re: what seats did you put in your 67-72 Chevy truck ?

These are the seats Ive decided to put in mine. They are black leather trailblazer seats. Both are power and heated.
I dont have them yet (still in transit) so I have no idea about fabbing the mounts. (supposedly they are relatively easy to install)--We'll see.

** I have since received the seats and they Will take some fabbing on the inside rails (outside rail is at least 2 in. higher) No hill for a stepper!!!!

Re: what seats did you put in your 67-72 Chevy truck ?

Love the different options seen here ! My stock bench is in really good shape but not so good on a messed up back. I like the newer Chevy seats with built in seat belts, really easy install. Also really want something with the head rests. I was in an accident quite a few years back, my ex and I were stopped waiting for traffic to clear and got rear ended by someone doing 65 (according to the investigating sheriff). The only reason our heads didn't go through the back window is a gun rack with my shotgun in it, our heads hit the gun. The rack did push the top of the window out about 3/4 inch though. The head rests may not look as clean but they sure are much safer. Something to think about ...

Re: what seats did you put in your 67-72 Chevy truck ?

I just picked mine up from a local salvage out of a 2005 Silverado, the whole package for only $250. They are mint for 05, just need to clean the pop off from the wreck. The drivers seat is electric. Hopefully it's an easy install.

Re: what seats did you put in your 67-72 Chevy truck ?

Nuke82

They are real simple to install I used the holes in the middle to bolt the console and seat then marked the other holes and drilled those. You will want to reinforce under the bolts and I shimmed the back of the track with front end alignment shims so the seat would travel back. Let me know if i can be any more help
