Thanks all-Blazer's finally done

Just want to thank all you members for your advice (and parts) in helping me finish my '74 Blazer project. She's on the road and going strong after a years restoration. I had a local shop install the 6.0 Denali motor but all the rest including body work and paint was done by me. Very proud of the results...(Paint-Nassau Blue)

I used my original panels-
knocked out any dents as best I could
Cleaned up then painted semi-gloss black over the original tan
used new reproduction arm rest pads and map pockets but used the original backing with the map pockets. (much better than the cardboard that came with them)
Redid the woodgrain (the dash pad insert grain also) with 3M "Di-Noc Marine Teak Wood" vinyl wrap. The instrument surround woodgrain is original.

Very Nice . I need to show my Son in law these pictures . It might motivate him to get his '82 K5 out of the driveway and use it. ...... see it hiding back there.

That is one beautiful K5, did you have the door panel redone, the woodgrain, or are they original?

They did a great job. They used "Speartech" wiring. The trans is the one that was on the 6.0 Denali motor. I think they used an adapter to mate it to the original '74 transfer case.

Nicely done. The engine install looks very clean. It really makes me miss driving my '74.
