West Coast Senior Mirrors Assembly and Mounting diagrams

Does anyone have any senior west coast mirror assembly and mounting diagrams for factory Chevrolet mirrors? I.E. where the washers, spacers, and fiber washers go in order. Needing measurements to drill and mount the Sr. mirrors. Any help would be nice. Thank you.

See if this helps any?

You may have to wander around the website some. For each selection on the right side there is a little box with an arrow that opens up the view.

Re: West Coast Senior Mirrors Assembly and Mounting diagrams

I took a bunch of photos for you. When I posted them, I get this error:

"Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error."

The forum will need to be fixed before I can upload them. It's a forum limit/bug.

Marine.
Thanks for the great link. Yes, I needed that assembly picture. Now I need to find the measurements or pictures for mounting them to the door. Thanks a ton.

I emailed them to you, but it SURE would be nice if they'd fix this so that other forum members can benefit.

The amount of stuff I've given up posting because of this is significant.

It'd also be a big benefit if they'd upgrade vBulletin to where you can "paste" images from the clipboard, like CorvetteForum. I'm forever pasting diagrams and tips into my posts there that we can't do here.

Davepl.

I got your email. That is the type of information I'm needing. Yes, it would be nice if they could make some changes so everyone could benefit from the information, instead of just me. This is a huge help. I can't mount my mirrors without this info. I've been months trying to find this info out.

THANK YOU!

I got that message several times when I tried to post the "allowed" 5 pictures per post. Now, I post 2 or 3 at a time and then just add the remaining 2 or 3. A minor hassle, but it works. Results might vary depending on your picture size.

Seems to work. You should be able to add additional pics (up to 5 total) to each post after uploading the first 2 or 3. It just doesn't seem to like a bunch of big pictures in one huge upload.

Re: West Coast Senior Mirrors Assembly and Mounting diagrams

Here are a couple of detail shots for the top bolts. I see my acorn nuts have rusted, I guess I need new stainless ones! Anyone know size and source?

I'm not sure if the acorn nuts originally used for the W.C. seniors are the same as those for the below eyeline mirrors. If not, disregard this.
The originals for my below eyeline mirrors were more pointed than the stainless and cad plated versions I located. The chrome plated versions I found were about the same as the originals. I bought them at a Menard's home center. I know there are no Menard's stores where you are, but I think most hardware stores carry chrome hardware. Usually it's in the specialty hardware you'll find in the small steel drawers. The chrome seems to be very high quality. I doubt the nuts would be any more susceptible to rust than the chrome on your mirrors. Here's a picture.
