Ash Tray Removal

Okay, Kinda embarrased. How do you remove the ash tray? Its not full of ashes to dump out or anything, just trying to see how it comes out.

Thank you,
Kevin C

Re: Ash Tray Removal

Push the center tab down that is inside and catches at the top, then pull it out.

Re: Ash Tray Removal

Tried that. I have it depressed as far down as it goes, but just won't tilt out. May just need to get more agressive with it.

Thank you,
Kevin C

Re: Ash Tray Removal

If it opens and closes normally then it should just slide right out hen the tab is depressed. That's really all that's holding it in place.

Re: Ash Tray Removal

After you push down the tab and pull it out just a little, lift it up and out.

Re: Ash Tray Removal

You first have to remove the windshield. Then drill out all the spot welds to remove the dash, and then....

Re: Ash Tray Removal

It has a bad design flaw.
Try doing it with it full of butts.

Have quit smoking now so only gum wrappers now.
Not as messy to clean up.
