I started on my C notch’s. Got them layed out and the cuts made before it started raining. Took more time getting the rusty bolts and rivers out than anything else. But it’s still fun.

PAINT ALERT!!!....lol

Seriously, I am excited as hell because I took my truck in for some paint yesterday.
I stripped all the molding off (big job), the front bumper, mirrors, etc, etc and got it largely prepped for the operation.
I'm not after the super, laser, show, ultimate paint job stuff....simply not practical and not my style.
I'm after a quality paint job that compliments the truck.
So hopefully in about 3-6 weeks I'll have it back and can start the long road back to putting the moldings all back on it, lol...which will be no easy feat.

I will post up some pre-paint pics a little later....with the moldings pulled, etc.

DAMN....I'm excited.

You have to hold your phone horizontal with the button on the right to take the picture.

What happened with inlinetube? I'm debating on pickup up a set of pre-bent en lieu of making my own due to time constraints

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II

The lines they sent for the porportioning valve to frame just were wrong
Everything else fit fine but they would not do anything to make it right

I have installed 2 other sets on different vehicles with no problem
So good luck

Trying to add link with more detail of problem

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II

I had a buddy whip me up some rear AC brackets to repair the vents. Painted 'em, and slipped them in. Looks almost new, and ready for the coming FL summer.
