6 Cylinder Power Steering peeps
Does your PS pulley sit at an angle? I tried two sets of pumps and brackets on my 250 and both make the pulley sit at an angle compared to the rest of the pulleys.

Are you missing the lower bracket? It is the alternator adjustment bracket and it comes up to that stud on the front side of the pump. Can't tell to well from those pics.

It was difficult to get a good picture but the pulley is leaning out towards the front at the top. I didn't put on the lower bracket yet but it won't change anything, the pump is pretty rigid on the brackets it's on.

Hmm, I've never looked that close at mine. I'll have to eyeball it tomorrow. It's dark out now. I've got question for you though. Where did you get the A/C setup from? I'm guessing it didn't come on your truck, or did it? I've never seen in person a truck inline 6 with air.

Have you spun the pulley over by hand to see if maybe the pulley itself is bent? The pump housing looks to be straight. LockDoc

1969 C/10 6 Cylinder Power Steering
Pic. of mine before I tipped it over whilst repaiting and bent the living crap out of both pulley and pump body .

Yes ~ when new it had the A.I.R. pump, I'm still using that bracket .

I'll get a picture of mine tonight. I have a 70 GMC with factory ps setup. Seems to me mine has a slight angle on it.

My P/S is off also but it's been working. It's not stock to my 67 Chevy L6 250 but it's all stock parts I got off a 68 GMC L6.

Yeah, looked at mine last night. The pump pulley is on a slight angle if you are looking at it from the drivers side. It works fine but by looking at it, you can see it really doesn't look like it lines up very well. Mine also has doubled crank pulley and a double water pump pulley. There is little clearance between the crank pulley and water pump pulley.
