5 7 drop boss 338 front tire size

I know there is a ton of info on the boss wheels but can't find my answer. Bought some used Boss 338's 20x8.5 and 20x10 with 265/45r20's 295/40r20's. I currently have a 3 5 drop which should be fine with the tires, I think. Will I run into any problems with the front tires with a 5 inch drop? Are 265's ok or do I need to go to a 245/40 up front?

Yes you will most likely need to go to a 245/40 front with a 5" front drop. I ran 245/45 on my 67 with 86 lower control arms 3" spindles and 2" spring and the outer edge of the tire rubbed on the outside edge of the inner wheel house on bumps at speed. I eventually went to a 4" drop and norubbing issues.
