Hidden Hitch

I just removed my step bumper...installed the new one and am putting in the hidden hitch. Seems like Lille have to cut up the license plate holder. Anyone running one of these or installed one?

Re: Hidden Hitch

I installed a hidden hitch from E.C.E. and had to cut a square notch for the draw bar. I also cut a notch for my 7 way trailer plugin. I also went so far as to install a box containing relays to control the load for the trailer. Remember when you would hook up a trailer and plug it in and your flashers would cycle faster and sometimes had to put in a heavy duty flasher?? My relay box doesn't load the truck circuits like that, The relays add about a 1/4 amp load to the flasher and cycle on/off with the trailer plugged in or not, no change, and i'm not taxing the oem harness this way. It does take a 10 gauge wire to be run from the front to the back, i use this to charge the trailer battery anyway.

A little long winded but i like the way my system works, especially when pulling the airstream. Good luck!!
