Here is a SPID from a truck I was thinking about going to look at. I guess I have been living a shelter life here in Idaho. There are items on here I have never seen before like the following:

Vehicle Decal Comani
Label Unit
Spare Wheel Delete
Tool Deletion
Magnetic Plug Unit
Undercoat Deletion
Wheel Carrier Delete
Vehicle Marking Uni
Permanent Anti-Free
Less Tire Equip
Consignee Caution
Ident Plate Marking

Navy trucks were gray. Marine trucks were either gray or olive green, depending on whether they were stolen from the Navy or the Army.

Lol well it’s definitely probably been been repainted a handful of times in its lifetime but says navy right there on the spid. That’s why he bought the truck, he’s an older gentleman and this truck was actually on the base he was stationed at, during the time he was there. He didn’t have any connection to it during his time there just happened to run into it later in life.

I bought my '68 C/10 Stepside before I joined the Corps. I took the drivers' course to get licensed for gov't CUCVs, GM half-ton stepsides with 250 L6s and 3OTT. When I double clutched the truck around a corner during my driver's check-out test, the instructor, said "Don't hot rod my truck!" MCAS Cherry Point had 5 '67 C/10s and a GMC C/1500, all Navy gray, in the Motor Pool then.

I've seen grey and I've seen navy blue USN vehicles.

Might be a LANT vs PAC thing, or whatever the dealer or factory painted them.
