Why is one of the belts shorter than the others? Any tears or abrasion?

No tears or abrasion. The lenght difference is do to the belts possible being from different year blazers. I just put what I had left over from my restoration to make a set of 3.

FWIW I believe the tab on the end of the belts for the Blazer rear seat are straight not angled.
