New project - 1975 Ranchero GT

Oh yeah - looking forward to this one.
1975 Ranchero, 406, automatic; originally an Arizona car.

Got to do a leak down test, one of the cylinder has lower compression, and it does not increase with oil injected into the cylinder. Hoping it just needs a valve job. Either way, should be fun.
Pretty clean too; odometer shows about 65k miles. Clean interior, power seats, air conditioning.

Re: New project - 1975 Ranchero GT

Any Ford fanatics here??
Found out one of the heads has a bent or seized valve, so I am pulling the motor.

Re: New project - 1975 Ranchero GT

About every brand has made good ones and junk. I've always mainly messed with Ford cars and old Chevy trucks. I have a 1964 ford Fairlane I'm messing with on the side currently. I also have multiple mustangs too. Ranchero and elcaminos are cool.
