More drop and Pics... whatch'a think?

Hey guys,
I spent the day dropping her yesterday... I still have somethings to work out; but this is what I have so far. The pic's are from my phone (so not the best of quality)... what's your thoughts?
Thanks,
Anthony

Other than replacing the dumbo mirrors with factory sport mirrors...I wouldn't change a damn thing!! Looks excellent, and I love the drop!!

Re: More drop and Pics... whatch'a think?

I like the color- kind of looks like Chryslers pearl in those pictures and the wheels really set it off. The mirrors didn't bother me until Jeff mentioned it and then my eyes wouldn't leave them alone. LOL. BTW- where is your exhaust exiting? Is the ride still good for a daily driver?

Thanks man... The color is stock Chev. white- what your are seeing is the reflection from the sun. I will be getting rid of the mirrors when ever I save enough to get it repainted. As far as the ride... NO it's not good for a DD; my fronts are rubbing on the top inside right now at the slightest bumps. If it was bagged... then it could be a good DD. Btw- the exhaust exits before the rear axle.

Thanks,
Anthony

I think your stance, drop, rake and overall the 'tuck job' is right on. That's what I think.

Maybe modding the inner fenders is next. Then bags...

Great looking truck. About all I would change is the shields behind the wheels. I'd rather see drum brakes than a cover. I don't even mind the dumbo mirrors!

Re: More drop and Pics... whatch'a think?

So how much drop do you have now then? Also what heaight tires are you running?

I think it looks great, but if you are hitting there's NO WAY I could ever go that low, we got some crappy roads.

I like it, I'm a fan of the dumbo mirrors, yet I love the sport mirriors also.

Paintjob? man it looks great I don't think it needs one. Then again I aint seeing it in person, they may be small issues you know of that we don't and I know what you mean there.

Well, how about getting some skinnier wheels for the front. With the right tires, you'd be able to escape from your rubbing problem. Hey, is there any way you can take some pictures from a good camera, instead of a cell phone? Thanks... NICE TRUCK!

The rubbing issues are pretty far in between now:
- I had an alignment done (tops of tires were pointed in after drop coil install)
- I also removed the factory bolts that held the jack in place on the inner fender...
- they still rub the inner fenders once in awhile during bumps/dips, but nothing major-IMO.

As far as new pics... I will get some when the sun comes out and it turns green around here!

Thanks guys,
Anthony
