Cab shackles

When I was taking apart my 49 I figured the cab shackles were junk. Like an idiot I threw them out. Now I'm sourcing new ones and they are pricey $200. Kinda old technology meant for a very bumpy dirt road. What's the consensus here. Should I buy new repops or there a better way to mount the rear half of the cab?

Re: Cab shackles

Finding some used ones is an option. And building a mount with body supports at the rear would work too. I remember some threads on here discussing the pro's and con's of going that route.
