1954 Chev 3100 Original Rims

I've been searching on line parts houses, the web and searching this forum with mixed results.
I'm looking for original rims or anything the original rim size and look for my 1954 chev 3100.
Manual indicates 16" rim, 6" wide tire, 6 ply, 4-1/2" backspace, 9/16" offset, 6 lug, 5-1/2" bolt circle, 7/16 -20 lugs.

Anyone know where I can find rims for this truck? I want the stock look with the half moon hubcaps, as this truck is all original.

Thanks!

Re: 1954 Chev 3100 Original Rims

There is a way overpriced place in Portland that no doubt will sell you a set. I bought a set of running boards from them when I got too excited about buying long bed running boards a few years ago and spent more money than I needed to.

If he hasn't thrown them in the junk Hogfarm on here might have a whole set. He did up a super nice 54 a couple of years ago and lives just the right "Honey ya want to go for a ride?" distance from you and me (he lives right between us)

I'd have to sort them out but I think I have a couple that I will never use. I[m up by Toppenish but we are going to the Concours de Maryhill at the museum on Oct 6. That might let you snag one here, one there and so on. I'd have to make sure the wheel (s) is/are worth the trouble on your part though. No cost on that except your trip to Maryhill.

What I am saying is don't go out and pay an exorbitant price for stock wheels that most guys on here throw in the junk when they go to other wheels. If you can't get them for the 15/20 bucks that Les Schwab charges for "snow tire wheels" you hunt further.

71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
