bedside toolbox molding

OK
I'm stumped and don't want to ruin the molding getting it off. How is the lower molding held on the lid of the bedside tool box? I have a feeling it prys off but after 40+ years maybe not easily.

Re: bedside toolbox molding

Clip fasteners in a blind hole, I have never had luck removing them but theoretically they do compress from opposite sides, I think those sides are top and bottom but could be wrong.
