Vent Windows (Wind Wings) from LMC

So, I'm restoring my 72 C10 and the only bad chrome is on the vent window frames. The rubber is also shot and I've heard horror stories about trying to fit it right. Has anyone tried the entire Vent window from LMC or any other supplier? How correct are they and do the fit alright?
Thanks

Get ahold of Roger Koop on the board- he does beautiful work restoring these for about the same price you'd pay for imported crap.

Re: Vent Windows (Wind Wings) from LMC

I seen those after market one a few years back , I'm guessing when they were first making these for our style truck. I seen them on two nice clean trucks and they stood out like a sore thumb. They looked cheap , did not fit right and not close to even looking original. Never look into them anymore , maybe they improved scene then I don't know. Roger Koop is doing a good reconditioning with these I personally can't wait to be on his list.

Not sure if he's an official vendor but he's always got stuff for sale in the 67-72 parts for sale forum. I've gotten a bunch of stuff from him you can't find anywhere else. I did buy a set of restored vent windows from him for my frame-off restoration - they are beautiful! And restored from mostly EOM parts, not Chinese junk.

Re: Vent Windows (Wind Wings) from LMC

Roger had shoulder surgery this month. I bought a set off of him back in February and he had a couple sets on the shelf when I picked mine up. They are top notch.
