I really appreciate that but we need one we can take apart and destroy. So we are looking for one just nice enough to measure and throw away. One will come along and we will get a basic cover built and then expand from there. Thanks for all the pictures and I will post updates as I have them.

I'd be willing to trade you my original '64 deluxe seat cover for a replacement one made from the same pattern. It is largely intact but the fabric parts are drying out and starting to crack.

The replacement wouldn't need to be OEM materials, just something similar. Once I received the replacement I can test-fit it and give you feedback on the replacement cover.

EDIT:
I also have a standard '64 seat I can do the same trade with. Thought that is an embossed vinyl so the pattern would be easy but an OEM match wouldn't be. I can get you more pics of either if you are interested.

I'm not trying to make anyone mad, but are they planning to make some seat covers or not? ...Been collecting pics and offers of seat covers for patterns for 6 months. How about it? Any updates?

I would buy a 66 custom seat cover if it is made with the correct materials and the price was fair.

Yep, You nailed it way back then! The most obvious reason for the delay. Photos are nice, but if your serious about doing a cover correctly, you need the actual original pattern ( doesn't have to be perfect in this case, even a torn up ripped one will do ) in your hands to get all the stiching in all the right places.

I simply have not had the time to deal with getting him a seat cover yet. I'm not sure if the OP still intends to make seat covers since he closed his for sale thread over on the '67-'72 side.

I pm'd him yesterday and he seems to want to do this.Im committed to send him a 66 deluxe cover for a pattern. Can I get more people 100% committed to going in with me on this? I understand that maybe you might not want to untill you see a price, but lets get a few peeps in line, and see what kind of price we can get. Im sure this can lead into covers for the diff years.

I need a 65 deluxe seat cover. It looks like 64 and 65 were the same.

I have a buddy that has a 4 5 or 6 deluxe red seat that I could get and send as a pattern if nobody has one.

I also know where there are a few 60-63 deluxe covers in junk yards that are just good enough for patterns
