Not now, but soon

I don't know if I am in the right section but here it goes, I have a near stock 70' LWB that I would like to make into a "stock looking 13 sec. in the 1/4 street truck"

Modifications over stock are:
Aluminum Wheels and wider tires donated by my dads 69' Short bed step side
Professional products dual plane intake manifold
HEI Dizzy (custom fit Taylor wires and new plugs)
650 Holley with vacuum secondaries (for the winter or if my wallet hurts)
An 850 Holley double pumper with mechanical secondaries feeding the motor now

Is it safe to run the 850 on the old 402 with its 78K miles?

Will 500 crank horsepower be enough to propel this beautiful truck into the 13 sec 1/4 mile range?

Will the stock heads support higher horsepower if the were ported?

How much horse power can the stock TH-400 handle?

Do I have to convert the original 2 piece driveshaft to a single one when I get in to higher horsepower or just get a new aluminum one made?

Thanks in advance for the help
