April 26th is the magic date at this point... I'm going to have to move it to its new residence and then it's on! Gotta put the '68 clip I'm aquiring on my Burb before then so I can focus on the 61 at that point. Can't wait to fire this project back up!!! Thanks for the interest. Should be some progress by the end of this month if all goes well

Keeping all the 69 trim. Only using grille surrounds, no hood or fender front edge trim, no bowtie or hood letters. Probably no parking lights either (turn signals in fog light bumper or in Euro Headlights like the New Beetle). White top and white below the lower/side trim. Keeping the Custom/10 and 8-396 badges.

Stop bumpin this thing and makin me feel guilty...

When I decided to cut the Burb down to a Tahoe I knew it would push this one out. The 61 is in safe/dry storage for now. And you KNOW I'll be posting here when it's back underway.

All these dates that keep getting pushed out; Divvy... The latest date now: 10/10/07, but I'm not holding my breath.

That's why I'm unloading all my energy on the Burb/Tahoe

Sorry but I had to bump it back up. I just picked up a 63SWB for a steal and first thing I did was look this thread up hoping for some more progress. Just to make it known now I plan on steeling the drip rail shave and maybe some radius door work as well. Oh yah and the inner fender's if it will alow me to law frame!

Just aline to pay my $.02 about your projects. Your Imiagination and ability to work with metal is something that I wish I had, I'm working on a blaser? I should say Kevin is doing the metal work. when he's done I beable to continue putting it back together.
