Re: ID a tranny
8640300 is the casting number for the case. It is a T350.

Re: ID a tranny
This is what I have in my 64 truck, believed to have replaced the Powerglide tranny. I have heard that this tranny was quite a success for GM, but stopped it's production in the mid 1980's.
Can you shed any additional light on this tranny for me, including possibly identifying what year it is? |

Re: ID a tranny
I knew the answer was "out there". Thanks very much for the reply. Any thoughts on the verification that this is a THM350?

Re: ID a tranny
Description and picture fits. THM350 it is.
Others I have talked with recently have also identified it as a T350 or TH350. Is this just the same terminology for the same transmission or are there truly differences? Thanks for your help. Still trying to learn all about my "new" old truck. |
