Help identifying electrical connector

I have been able to clean up all the wiring on the truck and have one connector left I am trying to identify. This connector runs toward the passenger side and drops out down by the glove box. Does anyone know what this goes to? Thank you.

Re: Help identifying electrical connector

Not the dual tank switch plug. That only has four terminals and they are female Packard 56 terminals to mate with the 1/4" Male disconnects on the switch.
It may be the Hot Fuel Module plug. It's the right plug...

Re: Help identifying electrical connector

as said not the fuel selector plug for sure .

not even close to hot fuel plug from the link . look at the plug shape . read his location .

power window and door lock plug if i was to guess since its all the way over by the glove box location . this is if i had to guess on it since i mostly play with man windows and locks .

Thanks, I actually have the dual tank switch already identified and hooked up so it was not that.

So the wiring on that plug (in the link) is a bit different than mine. My plug has 6 wires going to it which include orange, brown, and white. I looked at the wiring diagram (see attached) and it shows a black wire, but does not identify what the other connectors were.

Re: Help identifying electrical connector

Look on the 1988 R/V series wiring diagram page 43 PDF page 285... The plug in question is in the lower centre of the page.
PDF pages 289 & 290 have the ECM circuit number assignments and wire colors.

GM circuit #s Circuits follow
  • 419 Brown/White ECM A-5 Inst Cluster #15 Malfunction Indicator Lamp
  • 434 Orange/Black ECM B-10 Park Neutral Switch
  • 437 Brown VSS to ECM A-10
  • 450 Black Engine Ground to ALDL, ECM, ...
  • 451 White/Black ECM A-9, ALDL B. Diag Enable
  • 461 Orange ECM A-8, ALDL E. ECM Serial data
