Yes, yes, and yes. I just rotated the tires on our 2005 Tacoma so this seemed like a good time to post in this thread.

The OEM BFG Rugged Trails lasted 31,812 miles. I replaced them with Cooper AT-R tires that made it to 18,451 miles (I won't be buying Coopers again). Next up were Michelin LTX AT2 which I replaced at 41,425 miles. They still had 6/32" tread but winter was coming and a storm had been predicted all week (12" snow). The storm bypassed us but surrounding areas got hammered big time.

Which brings us to my current set of Goodyear Ultra Terrains, exclusive to America's Tire. Only 3392 miles so far, so it's an early rotation, but I was changing oil and wanted to get back to my regular 5K mile schedule.

You can see I never get a lot of miles from my tires and I believe it's partly because it's hard to find a straight mile of road around here. Much of my driving involves turning right and turning left. Also, chip-sealed roads are not uncommon, and that stuff is incredibly abrasive. And I do not run highway treads, gotta have something with dirt/mud/snow capabilities.

I know I used to get 20k out of bias-ply off road tread tires before they made them in radials. I don't really know because I don't keep track, but it seems I get at least double that. Time wise I do. I used to run at least 20k a year and as much as 30k. I was disappointed when the first set of Super Swapper SSRs didn't make it 2 years like other tires I had run, which were all quality brands. I think they went about 25k on a work truck with utility body and ladder rack always loaded with tools, and regularly hauling material in the bed

Motorcycles only have two little tires. I guess that's why they cost twice as much! I spend as much or more on two than many sets of car tires out there. 5k out of the rear is about normal for me. And I don't do burnouts. The rear tire does get scuffy on the pavement when running it hard through the gears. Might even slip sideways a bit when I shift it hard. I think it's about a 3:1 ratio on rear to front replacement.
