Rochester 1bbl Carb bushings

Hello everyone, I cranked the truck up on this beautiful day. The Carb links around the linkage and the front bottom. A local carb shop said they could fix it if they had the bushings

Where can I find the best quality bushings?

I found Mikes Carbs but I wanted other opinions

Thanks

Re: Rochester 1bbl Carb bushings

Generally when gas leaks (links?) out the throttle shaft the carb is flooding.

Re: Rochester 1bbl Carb bushings

Why would it be flooding?

I meant "Leaks" for some odd reason I typed "Links"

Dirt in the needle & seat. Bad float.

Re: Rochester 1bbl Carb bushings

Everything has been replaced but the Float

It leaks near the bottom of the carb, at the front at the brass shaft. When I press on the accelerator linkage it squirts gas out of it

I am about to just buy a $325 rebuilt carb that has had everything done to it

Re: Rochester 1bbl Carb bushings

Hello,

in the past i had the same problems with my carburetor,

One time needle and seat were full of dirt

Second time the float control was not good adjusted.

I also took parts from Mike. Good qualitiy and very fast delivery (about 4days to Germany) ;-)
