Re: Lets see the survivor trucks! original paint only!

Take a look at my '67 GMC 3500. I'd love to get some more feedback regarding the paint. This truck has 66k miles and other than the side mounted tool boxes that were supposedly installed when new, this truck appears to have all original paint. The dealer stickers from Ocean Lea GMC are still there on the sides of the cowl. The body color grille still shows some of the black surround trim and black GMC letters. Let me know your thoughts.

Re: Lets see the survivor trucks! original paint only!

Man there are so many nice trucks in this thread, all in colors I like! GM really hit a homerun when it came to color choices, something for everyone.

Robs71 I am really liking the light blue, is it the same as what is known as "Hawaiian Blue" from the later trucks or lighter?

Re: Lets see the survivor trucks! original paint only!

Sorry about the huge pics.
When I look on Imgur they are normal sized, then when I link them here they are huge.
What am I doing wrong?

Re: Lets see the survivor trucks! original paint only!

Some beautiful trucks on this thread. 1968 C20 Custom Camper, barn find. First picture was when I dragged it home and how it sits now. Sprayed the whole truck down with CLR, then rubbed it down with Scotchbrite pads. We actually wet sanded and buffed one of the fenders and it looks pretty good.
