Re: Rear Bumper to Frame size bolts

Cheapest - head to a Tractor Supply Store and get the carriage bolts with washers, lock washers and nuts.

I got a set for front/back with everything I needed in the bulk bolt section and they were about $3-4 for everything. I got the same size for both front and back.

I think I used 1 1/2" bolts - maybe less - can't recall for sure - I think they have 1/4" increments on the bolts [1"; 1.25"; 1.5"; etc.]

There will be some lettering on the bolt heads and if you want them gone - angle grinder will take them right off and polish them up.

1/2 inch bolts are what you need.

Re: Rear Bumper to Frame size bolts

Do you think 1/2 inch by 1 1/4 would be long enough?

That sounds long enough. Use good flat washers too.

and, in case we aren't all on the same page here... 1/2 inch bolt, Kevin means the bolt diameter... that would be 3/4 inch hex head/wrench.

Got some earlier today. Going to get my seat installed, bumper installed, and get this truck running!
