Vintage Air install for 60-63 cabs

I was asked to show my Vintage air install on my 1962. I will start with a few install instruction pages. I have got to the bracket so far. I did find C10 Builder mag Summer 2016 install on 62 gmc. The bracket i ordered wont work because heads lack a hole but the Vintage one works.
The new mounting bracket does not use Existing holes in the fire wall so you have to drill (2) 9/32" holes with supplied template. Bench work installing various hoses and bracket. 1" hole in firewall for drain hose. New cover plates, square, upper fire wall if you had delux heat, passenger fresh air.
Has electric hot water shut off for max ac. The condensor and drier can be installed by removing "stock" radiator. The C10 mag had to remove grill becausr trans cooler.
Under dash ducts and new glove box provided. Nice metal switch panel fits stock dash.

Re: Vintage Air install for 60-63 cabs

you can see all the install instructions on the VA website.

I have the Gen IV evaporate kit in my 63. The only thing I didn't like was the cheap hard aluminum lines going through the firewall that didn't line up well and had to be bent and massaged. Flexible lines to bulkhead fittings would cost more but install easier.

I think I've seen somebody use my vents but closer to the center of the dashboard. Simply for the reason that you just stated
