Well here we go... Just recently purchased a '68 C10 to fix up. This is my first truck to build and this site has been a GREAT help.

Re: Newbie

Yep, it's registered as a 68.. This truck has been quite interesting. The PO was selling it as a 69, the VIN came back as a 68, and it has a 350.

Re: Newbie

it has a 69 front end that's why I asked, must be a late model 68, same thing still happens I had a late model 07 that looked like the current body style, any close ups of that striping you do it yourself or was it a PO touch, trying to find someone up here with the classic touch to do mine when I get to that stage......

Re: Newbie

The PO had someone do the pin striping... I'll get some better picks later.

Re: Newbie

Thanks, wish I could take credit for the striping... I've had the truck for a couple of months now. The PO heated the springs to lower it. I am in the process of replacing the suspension (CPP 3/4 Lowering Kit), rebuilding the brakes and cleaning it up. So as off now it's just sitting up on jack stands. Here's some picks...
