Front ride control bags?

My dad wants his burb to ride better. I have found plenty of rear air helper kits. But I havent found any front ones. I know they exist. I've seen them, but I cant find them. Thanks, Bradley

Re: Front ride control bags?

Check AW Direct? I think that;s the name. They have a towing & recovery sales catalog and list bags for the front.I'm not sure they list your exact application.I had them on my '95 K3500 and that's where I got them.

Edit: I just checked and they do list a kit for 73+ K-series. www.awdirect.com

Re: Front ride control bags?

Thanks! That's where I had seen them too. I just have so many bookmarks! I have over 30 sections of bookmarks. each section ranging from 3 to 100+ bookmarks. Plus I have over 200 not in sections. Ugh! So little money, so much time!

EDIT: I cant find any "front" air bag kits on there...

EDIT2: I found a kit on a different website. It's an AirLift brand kit.

Re: Front ride control bags?

Thanks, but that isnt an airbag. It's a semi stiff piece of rubber that helps on big bumps and loads. I need airbags, as you lift higher than the leafs and make the ride softer.

Re: Front ride control bags?

Ok,I didn't read the description. They do what a bag does, except lift.there are auxilary bag kits made for rear leaf.I've used Airlifts in coils before.I got them at the spring shop I deal with Airlift doesn't make a front leaf application. You'd have to adapt something, maybe with your own brackets.
