66 Burban, did they use the tilting type passenger seat on the drivers side as well?
Any tag to say who the coach builder was?

Yep, it's gonna get a little more ---- using a full length short bed not the shortened version that came with it..

Doesn't have seats -- I'm gonna use Suburban front row and 6/ Custom truck for rear seat.
Haven't brought it home yet -- p/o said Stageway and they supposedly only built 12 that were 2 doors ---- rest were 4 door..

I'd buy it too, if I found it for sale.

A 1964 Chevrolet 4x4 three door Crew Cab. Anyone know the Coach Company that built this? It may be Canadian built since the right rear door hinges are not exposed?

Re: 60-66 crew cabs or extended cabs

That's not always the case.
A quick look at the VIN will say one way or anothe where it was built..
Mine has hidden hinges.

Actually if you look at the VIN it will tell you where the truck was built but not where or if there was a conversion.
It all depended upon the dealer area and what the customer ordered.
Every 60-66 crew cab I have seen where titled as "work truck" and never mentioned a conversion company unless there was a tag of some kind on it.

Re: 60-66 crew cabs or extended cabs

This truck has some cool upgrades. The rear doors were replaced with some OEM front doors that were cut down to fit and door hinges are hidden and not exposed to the exterior. A steel interior headliner was installed using several cabs to make it look OEM. Also body molding was installed having to customize the ones for the rear doors. This is the way the Stageway Coach Company should have built these in my opinion.

Re: 60-66 crew cabs or extended cabs

A rendering of a 64-66 Chevrolet Crew Cab 4x4 truck from Rtech Fabrications. They just announced they will be building these custom crew cab trucks at their shop located in Hayden Idaho. Check them out on the web at https://www.rtechfabrications.com/ or rtechfabrications on Instagram. This is a statement they posted on Instagram.

Rtech Fabrications is proud to present its latest Truck Line. This 1964 through 1966 truck will have a great deal of rear leg room. The Ponderosa custom crew cab will only be available in this cab length. Why do anything less? More information to come.
