3/4 ton rear hub assembly

Where can I get the tool to pull the hub off of my 70 pu. I guess its the full floater axle. Need a 6 pronged axle socket. Or do you guys use a screw driver and a hammer? Your experience is needed.

Thanks.

Re: 3/4 ton rear hub assembly

I got mine from NAPA.

I only use it for assembly with a torque wrench.

If you own a axle that needs this, it's a valuable enough tool to purchase.

Re: 3/4 ton rear hub assembly

The very few times I've needed it, I got by with just a screwdriver and hammer.

$16 at Advanced Auto. A good tool to have for the money.
