1967 Big Window Custom: New family member

I just added a new member to the family... 1967 Big Window Custom SWB. Pretty paint, straight as can be, and runs good (not stock 350). Other modifications done well. Pretty happy with this find.

It's my understanding that the Big Window was an option that year, most came from manufacturer with a small window. I am sure one of you guys knows more about this. Thanks for checking it out!

Re: 1967 Big Window Custom: New family member

NICE FIND!

Yes, the small window was "standard" in 1967 with the big window listed as an option. This was dropped for the 1968+ model years and all trucks had the big window.

Re: 1967 Big Window Custom: New family member

Also... I had a '67 project SWB that sold earlier this year and I regretted it. Funny how things come full circle. I have a '70 CST as well and even though they are generallythe same, there is a "grand canyon" of differences when you know what to look for.

That baby is beautiful! I'd have a hard time owning anything other than a '67 now. I really like the little unique differences. I actually like the trucks in order from 67-72...67 being my favorite, 72 my least favorite.

Nice looking truck, but I would like the small windows better.

I took my Harley to the Ventura show... Easier in traffic, easier to park. Good show though

Re: 1967 Big Window Custom: New family member

Someone requested more pics. Couldn't resist... For me it is truly the little things that I appreciate: a 'working' dome light, original 'Custom' badges, and orignal (I think) radio in uncut dash. Works for me..!

What a beauty, perfect just the way it is. I met a few classic car guys out in T.O. that told me to come out for the "Cars & Coffee" gathering at the mall. Have you ever been?

Re: 1967 Big Window Custom: New family member

I was under the impression that A/C was included equipment on a truck with that trim level and actually had to be deleted on purpose to not be installed, if so why would anyone ever do that?
It boggles the mind.

Not sure, had not heard that about A/C. It's definitely not an A/C cab.
