what do you put in place of the spider gear assembly in the H072 today
it seems that there is nothing available . mine broke did some damage to the carrier any suggestions. |

Try to find one in the local junk yard is your best bet.
Use the Search feature an look for Eaton H072 rear axle. Lots of good info on this thread.

Lack of parts availability and part cost are the two reasons I always recommend changing to a different differential. Good luck with your parts search.
