Awesome, I really like they way your motor detailed out. Matches the seats nicely as well.

Re: 69 Olive Verde

Installed the steering column and brake booster. Finished up the engine harness and rear light harness.
Windsheild came in wrong so didn't get to do that today. But overall productive day, especially for lounging on the couch every few hours.

Re: 69 Olive Verde

I'll do passenger door tomorrow and hopefully the correct windshield shows up tomorrow as well to install this weekend. I am busting my butt every night for atleast a few hours in hopes of driving this truck in May. What a long shot.

Re: 69 Olive Verde

Well no windshield again this week...did get the pass side done. Took a fraction of the time compared to the driver side and had no scratches. Have to get back to wiring until more parts get here. Boring.

I think your truck is a top contender to be T.O.T.Y. whenever that rolls around again.

Re: 69 Olive Verde

Truck looks awesome. I am really envious of the time you fine to work on it. Mine is still blown apart in the garage but I am lucky to get 5-6 hrs a weekend on it which makes for glacially slow progress.

I really struggle to find time to work on it. So I just make a point of getting out there atleast for a few minutes every day whether it be early morning or before bed and slowly the check list decreases.

Got the door latches installed and finished up the molding for now. Took an opportunity yesterday to go salvage yard hunting with my son and it was fantastic fun seeing his face light up every time we found a car he had never seen before. Trees growing through them and rotting away but it was all very peaceful like I had just fallen down the rabbit hole and was exploring this strange new place...anyways some pictures of the truck while cleaning out the garage.
