Possibility of getting 89 all original 56k mile Burb(true 9/10) for $6500 - worth it?

This thing literally hit me like a ton of bricks. I have a 95 F-150, in great shape that I have had for a year and put a little money into. I was driving down a main road on Saturday, and saw this Burb sitting on the corner. I didn't even think much of it.

Later, my wife was with me, I just decided to stop and take a look. The thing was IMMACULATE. 56k original miles, it had a new 6" suspension, nice 18" wheels and 35" tires- otherwise stock. Words can't even explain this things condition. Inside and out, it is the cleanest burb I have seen for the old box style- a true 9/10. Guy wanted $8,000 for it.

I talked to him for a while, and he warmed up to me. He called me hours later and said he would sell it to me for $6,500. Low and behold an hour later, the phone rings and I get a bonified offer on my F150 for $6,800.

So, here is where I am. 95 F-150 or 89 Suburban. I rarely haul- just motorcycles, but I have a trailer and hitch carrier for cycles too so no biggie.

What would you do? I wish I had more time to put this together, but the burb, and buyer for my truck both fell inline together in a very short time and I am trying to make sense of it.

To be fair to the F150, I have a class II suspension on it, softride rear springs and rebuilt the entire axle. It is a pretty amazing truck... I keep my stuff clean and in good shape. So, I think it's worth it.

it is nice, i'm not against ford if you look in my signature that i own a few but for that money i'd jump on it as trucks like that around here can be had for 2,500-4500 lifted or not take your pick

Sell the truck, buy the Burb, and rent a trailer if you need to haul a load...

Not so nice Suburbans can be had for less.I think the price is ok on this one.For perspective,I paid around that amount for a`91 about 3 years ago.It is a Scottsdale work truck from a municipal fleet w/96,000 on it.It was for other reasons that I got mine.I wanted it because it was basic,rustfree/Zeibarted(many are rusty in my area),well maintained,diesel,o/d,and just wanted it for trips with the family.I figured it would last forever for that.Well,it`s been my daily driver/work truck and I`ve had little problems,it just goes.I pull a trailer alot and behind the second seat it`s loaded w/carpentry tools. This one you want is way nicer.I just wanted the diesel and it`s kinda rare.

That is a really nice truck, but it looks like it is an 87 or 88.

It's still a really nice truck, no matter the year. I didn't want you to get taken, that's all. I bought an 89 sight unseen that turned out to be an 87.

both are good looking trucks. I always figure if I am happy with it and feel it's a good deal then you can't go wrong.
