My thoughts are, why? What are you actually trying to accomplish with a single leaf that cant be done properly with a multi-leaf pack?

Re: Monoleaf for a 79 ???

I called a spring company in town and talked to their "go to" guy and ask him about dearching the spring and mabey removing some leafs. This was how CLASSIC87 got his truck to look so nice, as he even stated the rear rode ruff, a mono will not. The guy at the local shop said that mono would be the best way to get a lower stance with the best possible ride. I have ordered a Belltech rear shackle hanger kit that will drop it 4" I would like to see another 4" without flipping the axle, just wondered if anyone has tried them out.

I don't under stand where your going to find 8". I did a flip kit in mine for 5" or so and I have less than 3" to the frame. Are you looking for 1" of suspension travel?
