Unity spotlight....my luck - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I wanted to try and get my Unity spot light installed today but as usual it didn't happen. When I bought this light the seller said it was for a 67-72 C 10...NOT!

I started looking at it close today and took it a part to drill the bracket hole. It's not even close. So I called Unity and got the right bracket # for it its a 202-L for the drivers side according to Unity customer service . I guess I'll be doing this next weekend also. I found one on E bay.
Unity sent me the instruction sheets along with the Unity sent the instructions to my e mail also.

Me to. I bought the light about year ago and never have messed with it until today as far mounting it. I get it mounted next weekend hopefully.
I've been reading some of the older post on them here to. I hope I get it all done.

Wow Andy, that is one sweet truck! When I get my 67 GMC road worthy we should meet up! I tried to buy a C30 one like yours several years ago, but the seller reneged on me.

That would be cool! You need to look into join our truck club. It's free and we always have a bunch of trucks at the Myrtle Beach car show in March come down.

I got the light in today and tested. It works fine. I ran out of day light so I'll do the final wiring next weekend. The drilling of the hole is a *****!

Cool deal! That light belongs on that truck. I have one for my '72 I've had at least 10 years. I guess I'm waiting till I restore it. Or maybe I just keep forgetting about it. Just not a priority. I bought mine from a member who pulled it off a '70 that I saw on the truck. So I know it worked and fit.

Anybody have any pictures of their handles inside the cab and how they are mounted through the pillar. Just want to see how everyone elses looks.

I think we got off of level with mine a tad!
