Bigger tires on Stock 16" Rims

In my previous K1500, i switched to 15" rims so i could run 32x11.5 Tires, which looked awesome and fit perfectly.

With this truck, if i stick with the stock 16" rims, what size tire would equal the above configuration, since there's no such thing as a 32" tire for a 16" rim.

That would make things too easy

Here's a pic of the old truck with the 32's
Best tires i've ever used. Knobby, but really quiet on the freeway, and awesome in the snow.
plus they were cheap, think i paid $65-70 each

265/75/16 will give you the same approx. outer diameter but, won't give you all of the width. They will be approx 8 inches wide. Your local tire distributor should be able to come up with an exact match though.

Re: Bigger tires on Stock 16" Rims

I'm pretty sure i have 265/75R16 on there now, everyplace i check lists them as the stock size, but they seem so much smaller than the 32's i had.

I found that the Dunlop Mud Rovers i like come in the following sizes
265/75R16
285/75R16
305/70R16

so i'm guessing the 285/75R16 would get me the closest, not sure if i want to chance the 305, i'm gussing that would be too wide.
