Brace it up?
So going to cut out and replace the floors and rockers this weekend. The cab is still on the frame and everything. Should I run a piece of angle iron or something across the pillars to make sure everything stays square or will the cab mounts hold it in shape?

Re: Brace it up?
I ran a piece of square stock across the door and a piece from that to the floor. better safe than sorry. I had issues on both sides, the first side I did not do it, the cab stretched over 3/8 inch. the other side the weld broke. wrapped a ratchet strap and squeezed it back together. I would do it

Re: Brace it up?
That's what I was thinking, just to be safe. Kinda be a pain to work around but better than the alternative I guess.

Re: Brace it up?
Like said above...better safe than sorry. I have never cut a cab or body apart and thought dang, I didn't need all that. It can be tough to work around but it is well worth the time and effort.
