Lets see some 15" wheel & tire combos

So I know its not the cool "in" thing but Is anyone running a 15” wheels anymore? Seem like all I see is 18” plus, I just pick up a used set of 15" aluminum eagle wheels, but now I don’t know what tire to run. I am kicking around 255/50’s up front and 295/50s out back but am not sure how that would look. My truck is a 68 - 2 wheel drive step side.

Show me what you’re running in a 15?

Thanks

P.S. If there is already a 15 wheel thread let me know, I couldn’t seem to find it using the search

Re: Lets see some 15" wheel & tire combos

Don't do the 295/50's please. They are too short for a truck. 255/60's up front and 275/60's out back look perfect for 15's imo

Re: Lets see some 15" wheel & tire combos

This is a pic with my old wheels, they are 15"x10", with 265/50 front and 295/50 rear. They are not too short, just need to lower the back end

Re: Lets see some 15" wheel & tire combos

235/60 look good on the front with 295/50's on the back. I had a '92 xcab 1500 with a 5/7 drop with 15x8 in front 15x10's in the back and that tire setup.

My 69 has 15x8's all around with 275/60's now, and I don't see why a 10" rim wouldn't fit easily if the truck isn't too low and the rim doesn't have a deep negative offset.

Re: Lets see some 15" wheel & tire combos

Heres mine, not sure on the width of the wheels, either 8" but possibly 10", I'm getting a couple of the tyres reseated with new valves soon as they're leaking so I'll measure them then. Tyres are 31 x 10.5 BFG Long Trails but I plan on going to probably BFG Radial T/A's sometime soon. The previous owner had 31 x 10.5" AT's on it and I just replaced them in the same size as they were all cracked on the sides.
