Pain in the behind!
I had to clean every contact on my instrument panel and pry out all the contacts on the bulb holders to get them all to work.
 It took about an hour with a multimeter to get it all done, but at least something else on my truck works like it is supposed to! Oh yeah, I got the stupid windshield wipers to quit sticking staight up when I turn them off too!

Been there too. Used alcohol and scotch-brite on the contacts. Those lamp sockets are touchy. Sprayed the puke green insides with metallic silver and gauges lite up about 30% better at night now.

Yeah I need to do that too! I guess I'll wait until I get my new headlight switch, I hate trying to get that stupid knob off!

If you take your instrument panel apart the inside is painted a pastel "puke" green.

hey krue, when you pull the knob off just leave the headlights on then pull the bezel out of the way and stick the knob back in to turn the lights off. That always works for me.

Krue,...the definition of a pain in the butt, is when you do all that, and they still don't work!!! I think you had a very successfull work session!!! Keep that up, and you won't have to fix anything till it breaks anymore!
