Unfortunately no one makes aftermarket body panels for the C/40-50-60 medium duty trucks, You can use pickup doors if you trim the lower front corners off.

You'll need to scour the wrecking yards, craigslist and the classifieds on this site. Depending on the type of mirror you need and how much of it you need you may be able to get at an auto pets store or amazon.

Re: 69 Chevy c40

Buses used the same front sheetmetal as the 67-72 trucks for a long time. I have an 80 model bus and it has the same front sheetmetal as the 68-72 C40-50-60. If you take that into account that adds a BUNCH of years that the front sheetmetal could be found on. The cab stuff and doors will work with a little modding from the C10-20-30 stuff like said above the doors with the front corners trimmed and the aftermarket rockers might could be made to work if you don't mind a little slice and dice. I would use http://www.adhuntr.com/ or something like it so you can search the country.

I found a set of NOS front fenders for my C50, they were in a body shop that the county used for years and he was retiring.

Best of luck!

Re: 69 Chevy c40

I have a 68 C40 I'm working on and I'm gave a heck of a Time finding brake parts for. I'm sure I will need other chassis parts as well. I'm wondering if you have found a reliable source for parts for your truck. If so could you please let me know? Thank you.

NAPA was my source when I did my 72 C50 and I told myself I would never do it again. My 67 C50 I changed axles so I could have Disk brakes. The old 1965 GMC/Chevy Potato chip delivery vans front axle is perfect to adapt to disc brakes.
I changed the rear axle to get rear disk and used a 2002 Chevy 3500 master. Worked great. Lots of work but in the end its perfect and you can now get parts for years to come.

Thanks Dave. I'd love to change the rear-end and do the disc brakes but it's way above my budget right now. Rear end is good but it's not the greatest for going down the freeway which will need to be addressed sooner or later. I was thinking of adding a brownie but now I'm just going to save up and do as you have mentioned. Hey going slow on the freeway has it's advantage..more looks.. thanks
