Rim Choice? Ordered some Parts...

Well today was fun. Worked on brakes that are frozen for 10 years. broke the drums off and the springs fell apart. Than I was at the auto parts store for 3 hours going through catalogs trying to match up parts that fit my c10. It was an astro van pads and spring kit. Finish it Tomorrow. Ordered a CPP Notch Kit for next weekends project while I put my funds together to order the Porterbuilt Air Ride System. Being somewhat on a budget I was looking at some cheaper wheel like the craggier deluxe but I like the look of the chrome craggier ss series. 15x7 with a skinny white wall tire. What do you think would look good on this truck?

Crager SS would look great, but I would skip the white wall.

Re: Rim Choice? Ordered some Parts...

I went with the legend series rims from Summit on my '69. My opinion, but you just can't a tall enough tire with 15's for these trucks. I went with 235 55 17 in the front and 275 55 17 in the rear. Front a 17x8 4.5" bs rim and the rear a 17x9 5" bs.

Drop is 4 1/2" front (2.5" spindles and 2" springs) with a leaf spring flip in the rear for a 7" drop.
