Ok thanks for the input guys! I think I've decided on going with the black rim and finding a correct style centre cap with a white stripe tire. I would like to find 15x7 or 15x8 steel wheels but that looks like it might be hard to do!?!?

If a 67-72 has a white roof and/or white lower line, nothing but nothing looks better than true white steelies. Just sayin...

CG those seem to be a tough find these days! You took a good pic because everywhere I look that pic pops up! Did they make these in a 15x8 and a 15x7? If so what years am I looking for in a 6 bolt pattern?

If you can find any old rims with the right bolt pattern, take them to a wheel shop and get the width you want made.

I kinda' like the 8" steel wheels, too. If the tires are beefy enough white really looks good too. We put '69 Camaro dog dish caps on the '68.

NoNeck that looks good! My plan is to put those same caps on and run a 15x8 in the back and a 15x7 up front! I just ordered up some whitewall tires so I'm hoping to find the rims soon! Only problem is my truck is 6 bolt so rims are not so easy to find!!!

See my signature... I have a set of 6" 5-lug steelies and a set of 8.5" 6-lug rallyes I'm looking to trade.

What size and brand tires did you get? I'm trying to decide on white walls and wheels myself! I bought some BFG's for my rallies to get me by in the meantime. If we were 5 lug it'd be a lot easier!

White steelies is my vote. Just seem to fit these trucks. As someone else said, they go especially well with a white roof(and white bumpers). I also like as tall a black wall tire as you can cram in there without a rub. But, your truck looks great to me as is.
